More than 25 Years of Service to the peoples of Ethiopa
CRDA is an umbrella organisation of over 140 NGOs and church-based agencies operating in Ethiopia, a number which covers two third of the NGOs operating in the country.
CRDA was first established in 1973 in response to the relief need of 1972/73 when the country was hit by drought and famine. It was then registered with the Government of Ethiopia in 1975.
·Facilitating and co-ordinating information exchange, creating an enabling environment and enhancing understanding among members, the government and the public at large
·Promoting collaboration among members
·Representing collective/individual interest of members with Governmental and international fora
·Building and improving capacity of its members to achieve their objectives
·Alerting the membership on policies and issues affecting their work

Strengthening the capabilities of member agencies to help disadvantaged communities and groups improve their standards of living and their control over their own livelihood on a sustainable basis. |
